Let's talk about diapers. Now first of all I will admit that I never tried anything but disposable diapers. I never had a desire to use anything other than disposable diapers. So if you are looking for an opinion on anything other than disposable diapers, I cannot give it to you.
I want to tell you my opinion on Huggies versus Pampers. Please remember though that this is just my little, old opinion based on my experience with my little one! Hopefully others will join in and leave their comments and findings too.
When my little one was a newborn, I used Huggies diapers for newborns. They have the umbilical cord cut out which is amazing. I loved them and would not even buy anything else. I did try a Pampers for newborns as I received a free sample, but I just did not love them the way I loved the Huggies for newborns. Honestly I do not remember why I did not like the Pampers for newborns. I just can tell you that I loved the Huggies for newborns so much that there was no trying anything else!
I also found and have continually found that Huggies routinely sends out tons of coupons for their products if you register on their site. I love getting the coupons. I always have more Huggies coupons than I can manage to use!
For regular diapers once your little one has lost their umbilical cord, I have to say that I love Huggies best again. In my experience and opinion, Huggies just holds way more urine and bowel movement than Pampers diapers. Personally, I found Pampers diapers leak very easily.
I love how the Pampers diapers smell like baby powder though. I prefer the smell of the Pampers over the Huggies. I find the Huggies just smell like a plastic sort of smell mixed with whatever else they are made of. Huggies could really improve their diapers if they made them smell like baby powder, like the Pampers diapers do.
I love the Sesame Street characters on the Pampers diapers. Or should I say my little one loves the Elmo on the Pampers diapers! I was never crazy about Mickey Mouse on the Huggies diapers. My little one only recently paid attention to the Mickey Mouse on the Huggies. I love the Winnie the Pooh on the comfort style of Huggies, but they are more expensive than the standard Huggies diapers so I just would not fork out the extra money for the Winnie the Pooh picture. I know they are supposed to be shaped for a better fit, but the supposed bulkier Huggies never slowed my little one down!
For training pants, I like the Pampers Easy Ups best. My daughter loves that Dora is on them. I love that they smell like baby powder. They also open easy at the side for taking them off. I do wish that once you opened the side that it was re-closable though. I find that Pampers Easy Ups hold a good amount of urine and/or bowel movement.
The Huggies Pull Ups are good also. They open and re close at the sides which is good. They hold a good amount of urine and bowel movement also. They have the Disney Princess pictures on them which never got my little one's attention. I also do not like the diaper smell of them. Huggies, make your diapers and training pants smell like baby powder please.
Now for wipes; sorry but in my opinion, Huggies wins hands down. I find the Huggies wipes feel more substantial and thicker. When I use the Pampers wipes I feel that I need to use more wipes and that they are thin and rip quite easily. Huggies wipes I find I use fewer wipes and that they feel thicker and tear less often.
So from my personal experience and preferences, I love Huggies Newborn diapers, Huggies regular diapers, Pampers Easy Up training pants, and Huggies wipes. But everyone is different and I recommend that you sign up for the free samples and try them both out to discover which brand works for you the best.

Well all the talk lately is about the Walt Disney Series called Baby Einstein and their videos.
Apparently there were issues brought up about whether or not the Baby Einstein videos were in fact educational or not.
Personally, I love the Baby Einstein videos and I would purchase them all over again for my daughter. However, please remember that is my personal point of view. My daughter loved the videos and honestly, I never thought when I purchased the videos that they would make my daughter a genius or anything of the sort! But that is just me. Everyone must form their own personal opinion of course.

I personally think that it is a shame that Disney is offering people a refund for their videos. I am sure that many children enjoyed hours of enjoyment from the videos and honestly, if you are letting your child watch
television for the purpose of educating them and creating a genius, you are in my opinion off to the wrong start!
